A side of a building had been stuccoed (sic) and these metallic stars were on it in rows. The stucco textures reminded me of clouds so I thought it might work. Shot three of the stars making one lower left in the frame, centered on the next and upper right in the frame for the last.

Post: Auto levels, layer adjustment for brightness and contrast for each of the three separate images. Crop. New layer for the black ground. Resized and copied each of the original images as pasted them to the background. Made a thin Gray border.

very sensitive textural study, way underrated in the challenge. my first impression is that the composition would be stronger if the stars werent in a straight line, maybe curved down slightly, but not sure exactly if this would work...maybe play around

interesting experiment.
motion trails in the BG (sand?) could add alot to this, IMHO.
