Wow! I love this! Another powerful capture of that intense ocean scene! Excellent work!

In my opinion, a little more 'rock' incorporated on the right (fore and far right) would have given this a little more balance compositionally and color-wise. The 'crashing surf' capture is good, and as mentioned, the size doesn't do this justice, however perhaps an even sharper (ground likely) angle, may have also helped capture the almost 'ominous feel'/'force' more of that massive surf/waves. Undecided on 'less sky', more focus on the surf/waves and rocks or just more 'height' in pixels. |

I think this is one of those shots that looks good reduced, but the real charm is in the enlargement. I can see traces in the small version that it has beautiful subtleties that will really shine in a large version. Both the sky and the water have areas of lovely pastelish color changes.
Looks like it should be enlarged and treated a bit like an oil painting. Perhaps printed on canvas (though I've yet to do that so I don't have experience on how it will come out!)
Beautiful work. |

Faye, I think I would like to see more of the land in my noobish opinion. I really like it, I can feel the power of the waves crashing the land, yet the colors are soothing to the eye. Jeff |
