| no really...it's squared ;) 3 x 3 = 9 ...3 x 3 x3 ...would be quite a feat. But I'm glad after all this time you still like it. Unfortunately, I think we both need to get out more ;) |

Just found this response to a comment I made years ago; seems like another life entirely.
I appreciated the fact that the triptych was 'squared' in terms of overall image geometry. My thinking in saying cubed was that all of the three images in the trip are in fact trips in themselves (thanks to the tree and the lamp post). And thus 'cubed'. It made a cartoon strip effect that I loved back then, and have lost no affection for in the years since. In fact I admire it even more. Absence does indeed make the hard go Fonda, or whatever it is that they say.

| Love the idea, the background is really distracting though :( I think it could've been improved with like a brick building or something as the background. |

| This is in many ways one of the more interesting triptychs, conceptually, in this challenge. There's a palpable sense of immediacy, of the passage of time and life. Technically it [i]appears[/i ]flawed, with the bright vertical haloing on the right edges, and the tiny, disheveled wedge of gutter showing in each image is oddly attention-getting, but overall this leaves a certain gritty, homespun texture to the whole that's appealing to me. Bumping up, and good luck! |

There are quite a few good pictures out there, but this one is definitely a contender. It's crisp, clean, colorful, and very well composed. Good luck.

| I love the urban lanscape here. The mosque/temple in the background describing wealth and then the grafiti and the wire fense describing a different subculture altogether. A get juxapostion. |

| This is a series with a lot of personality. I love the the tree and the lamp post naturally divide each image into three parts. It's a little bit hard to focus on the men because there is so much else going on in the photo. But when you do their actions are really humorous. |

| I'll be curious to see how this scores and your comments - i considered a vertical idea but was afraid the voters would slam me for it. Nice concept, perhaps more border would help. THe more i look at it the more it looks the three movie stills. |
