This image feels a bit harsh for such an introspective theme. nicely composed (and great hair!) but i think it's the looking up that gives the disconnect. A softer shot with this composition would work well, but the clarity of focus here gives the picture a mixed message to my eye. Wish I could do self portraits like you, though! They are beautiful.

| The tonal qualities are good in this image. There is something about your gaze that makes this image a bit off-balnced though. Not quite sure what it is but there's soemthing about it :) |
