I like this a lot. The colors work well and the shadows are nice. It would have been a little better if the tip of the middle petal had been cropped a bit.

They look different than city flies. Maybe it's the spurs. Wonderful macro shot, you've really done well here. Good job. amazing DOF as well.

hmmm. country life? you're pushin' it. Very good macro shot excellent detail. Only -8 because I don't think it fits the challenge head on.

It's a great shot but I don't think it depicts "country life" at all. You still get points for a great macro, but try to follow the challenge a little closer.
