This is a really cool shot to me. I love the way the shadow looks like it has a "sunrise" coming up over a "mountain". I can look at it again and see the iris of an eye with the light spot being the pupil. I think the photo is centered well and it's just interesting to view. I also think the sepia tone was perfect for this. Not too harsh. Softens it just enough. :)

Cool effect. I like how the light radiates like a sunflower. This reminds me of a sylized sun rising over a mountain top. Really nice.

This is a very nice shot. i like the reflection of the shadow back onto the ball. The only thing that takes away from the shot is the overall brightness of the highlights. I don't know how one would make it softer looking (maybe with the use of a flash/light deflector) but that would improve the mood.

This is a lovely composition... I love the lighting and shadow effects on this photo. My only minor complaint on this photo is that I think it needs just a little bit more breathing room on the top and bottom of the frame. i think the same amount that you have on the left would be great on the top and bottom as well... excellent shot! = 9

Wow, this is really cool. It's abstract and familiar, bold and somehow comforting. Maybe that's the power of crystal. It's hard to go wrong with crystal.

I think it is too bright on the crystal ball. Since the subject is shadow, you probably can just focus on the shadow without including the entire crystal ball.
