| The thin inner border is a little to close in appearance to the strings, and creates a somewhat jarring, confusing point in the lower right (maybe that's on purpose). Not sure what I'd do about it--maybe make it 100% black and have the outer border just a touch lighter. |

| this is a nice shot, though i think you've cluttered it a bit by including the "marshall" insignia. i've seen shots of guitars similar to this that really work by showing the great curves and smooth finish using high contrast focused lighting. you've started to explore that here with the guitar, but the shot's overall "focus" gets lost when you include the logo. 4. |

| I'd like to have seen this getting closer to the guitar with less of the Marshall logo in view (it's so distinct that you only need a little of it) - it would be a bit more atmospheric. A nice shot though anyway. [ 6 ] |

| I love the guitar part of the shot, but would have been happier to see the word left out, and all the focus put on the guitar as the subject of the shot. |

| My only distraction is that framing line is the same width as the strings, fooled the eye and lost the harmony of the first viewing. |

Haha, this is how I kept seeing those words... I think you may even have an SG there (albeit a copy)!
Great concept, nice mood, good textures. Like the sharpness of the 'Marshall' logo. Graininess of guitar works well. Like the cropping, and angle of guitar.
My favourite pic this challenge, you met the challenge well. 9 |
