Nice shot. You actually made rotting fruit look pretty. :)

I like your take on the still life--very nice colors though that apple looks really disgusting! ;)

I love this skewed view of a still life. Reflective bowl excellent choice. I think people often don't think about the entirety of a composition, make sure all elements add to the overall 'picture.' You have done that here. Well done. 9

very interesting take on the theme. Love the lighting used here, although the double shadow on the knife distracts a bit. 7

nice still life. works well for this challenge. reminiscent of old oil paintings where they have bugs and rotting fruit to remind us of the fleeting nature of life.

There's a message here. The rich tones, the lighting -- it looks like a Flemish painting. And then you see that everything is rotting... Congratulations on an outstanding photo.

Beautiful photo, well composed and lit, sharp with good dark background, but there is one thing missing IMHO: The garbage.

quite a philosophy in this picture... love the light and the colors, the fruits you have chosen, the knife... a delightful simplicity in here. it's got the look of an old painting

Very nice lighting. Also a very good take on the challenge, this is like a classic still life but with rotten fruit. Nice picture.
