I like the B&W of this shot. The composition also is very appealing. This, to me, appears to be a very nostalgic shot. Transporting the viewer back to days gone by when they were younger and used to take a stroll down to the lakeside. I like how you see just a peek of the lake between the reeds for if you want to gaze upon the lake you need to stroll down this boardwalk to get there - and our eyes must do that exploring.

Nice shot of the lake and fishing pier. It may just be me but it seems as if the horizon is tilted a tiny bit.

You have some nice shadows and light here. The upper portion of the grasses on the right of the walkway look a little blown out. I like the composition quite a bit...lots of different textures here.

highlights are a little blown -- and is this a landscape? I can't really see anything that's not in the shadows...

Looks a bit overexposed to me, not sure about b/w either.

Needs more contrast. B&W should hit you with it.

I think maybe a higher contrast would help bring out the tall grass on the right side of the walk. Very cool picture though!
