I hear everyone on the noise. It was a little overdone after viewing it again. As for the pole, it annoyed the hell out of me. Unfortunately, it was pouring down rain so I couldn't step out further to frame it out, and cropping it lost a lot of the interesting wall at the right edge of the frame. Thanks for the feedback

This was a good idea, it may have worked better with color, as is, it is fairly boring.

Grain works well in your photo. I do find the pole and light area in the bottom right distracting though. I wonder how this would look with that completely cropped out. Either from the bottom or from the side.

like the graininess of this image. all the brickwork overwhelms the items of trash...they easily get lost against the brick sidewalk in my eye.

I feel that the post in the bottom right of the frame intrudes somewhat.

That post and bright spot at the lower right is very distracting. Otherwise, a nice gritty, dirty picture.
