this is a very nice image. i'm not sure i understand the title, this being an "open-to-editing" challenge, but it looks like you've done some work on the border, which gives the photo a more grungy feel. i like the lighting, thought it seems a tad flat. i'm thinking now that maybe the "not allowed on dpc" version includes a more liberal crop, but i think this works just fine. 8. |

Great picture and great framing! I would have given it a 10 if I could vote. But someone might vote it lower cause of the pubic hairs ... |

Okay Dmitri, I understand your complaint, but this cropping works so well, putting our attention on the sense of strength and struggle here rather than on other "things." Very nice work! 9 |

The original one works better for me. Imho this one could work too if you also loose the pubic hair. For the following challenges, please keep in mind that the submissions should be kept anonymous. |

LOL... oh gees... nice job. very interesting and intriguing. why did you choose to leave out the head? I like what you did with the border inside of the all editing allowed area, because it doesn't really change the photo, just enhances it. This isn't a perfect photo, but I'm going out on a limb and giving it a -10- good luck! |
