Taken from a bridge over a pond. Noticed it as I was taking a photo of a family of ducks swimming across the pond.

I'm very new to this, and don't know the tricks... after I resized the photo to fit the size requirement, it looks like it has lost some quality, such as the details on the softball and the clarity of the lines of the leaves... is there a way to avoid this?

=(
Anyone know why that is and how to avoid that?

If you haven't got an answer to the resizing question yet, check out this tutorial.

Nice cloud reflection. Might benefit from a bit more saturation.

I've seen this too many times (on the course--after I hit it)! Penalty stroke here you come...

My favorite part of your photo is actually the top half with the sky reflection. The golf ball itself looks a bit overly sharpened on my screen, but nice to see a different take on the challenge.

is that a golf ball? it's a bit difficult to see with the water/light. i like the simplicity of this composition, and the color of the leaves in the water. the ball's placement at the bottom center is appealing, and makes for a subtle photo.

Those are nice cloud reflections in the water. They would have made a good picture by themselves, but for purposes of this picture, I'd have cropped them out. IMNSHO, they don't add to the "garbage" theme. As for the bottom portion of the picture, it looks like a golf ball in a water hazard. Do you really consider that garbage?
