 PP nothing more than boosted sat a bit. The 640 size does not do this justice full size the dead stump appears to have a life of its own (if you like dead tree stumps).

I'm thinking I will probably get slammed with DNMC or oversaturated or Title shouldn't be plural... but hopefully a few folks will like it.

I like the kinda grundged up look it has without adding a single effect to it.

I think your angle and composition are very busy. I don't have a main focal point in this image to keep me. Perhaps another angle with less clutter in the shot would improve the sense of dead end/new life.

Photo seems to have too much detail. Very hard for the eye to rest on any one item.

There's too much going on here - what am I supposed to look at? Focusing in on the flowers or grass with the stump as a background might have gotten your title across better.

I like the subject, the colors, the texture. But the tilt is extreme and I don't understand how it adds to the subject. Feels a tad bit over exposed as well, but not terribly so.

I think there is a bit too much going on in this shot to hold the viewers attention. I like the colors and possibly the angle, but would have liked to see some midtone adjustments and maybe even some shadow to make the fall colors pop a bit. Just a bit more "it" factor and imo you would have had an excellent shot. Look forward to seeing more.
