Sigh - I was so off this week. All of my tens did poorly. Three finished on this page. Oh well, I still think this could have finished in first place. Absolutely perfect picture.

Thank you all for the helpful comments. Special thanks to ClubJuggle for the in-depth critique.

I can't explain the reason for my facial expression, except to say that obviously I don't know how to model. ;-)

Thanks again, everyone!

Hi Jennifer, great shot. I was one of the 4 people to give this a 10, and frankly, I am shocked and disappointed that it did not do better. Like others, I was not quite sure what to make of your facial experession... but the positive side of that is that it caused me to stop and pay attention, and think for a bit... but what I got out of it was someone who is balancing a career and a child... which after reading your profile turns out to be correct! Now, that can be stressful of course, and I think your expression reflects that. I like the toning of this shot, it's warm and fitting to the mood of the shot as a whole. The lightinw works for me, and though it wasn't a factor in my scoring, you make an attractive model as well.

In all I think this deserved much better than the 5.7 you finished with. Thanks for sharing, and good luck in future challenges!

Nice tone - expression looks nonplussed, though - what emotion were you rtying to convey?

Nicely shot and for some reason, I do really like the inner frame. Lighting may be a touch too harsh and overdone though

I really like the pose, and the black and white, but it is a little washed out for me.

Great light and soft focus. The atmosphere is excellent. I think just your expression is wrong. I think laughing would have suited the atmosphere better. Love the duotones too. 8 - floyd

Most of the time I don't like soft focus. However the way you have done it is fantastic! I also like the duotone and the border. Good job! (9)

I like the white on white. The expression is superb. The little line does nothing for me, but to each his/her own.

I really like the soft focus and high key photography here. They work well together with the title and the expression on this fabulously gorgeous model.

Not sure if it appeals to me to see someone identify as a "mother of one" rather than as being an individual. It is kind of like being identified as "Tom's girlfriend" rather than "Lisa", if you know what I mean. Otherwise; cool pose, but lacking a little in the contrast side. (5)
