Engaging photograph! use of light and low key work pretty well here, though I can see this shot being taken in a lighter context, too. The darkness, oddly, does not add much emotional impact. |

Image looks a bit posterized, but it's still a good one - even though I've become a bit tired of the reflection-in-glasses shots! [5] |

I like the concept, but everything is just a bit too fuzzy for my taste. I would like to be able to discern a little more of what I am looking at. Love the shades of black/grey, and interesting composition. |

this is a good idea and a good effort, but i think it falls a little short. the lighting on the glasses is good, but i think you need a little more contrast on the person. also, the cluttered backhround in the reflection is taking away from the clean lines of the glasses and making the shot seem busy. maybe trying it with a black curtain or sheet behind the person and more directional light on them would give this more punch. also, either with digital editing or lighting techniques, i'd try to get that nose piece out of the reflecting lens. good effort. 6. |
