 I had the chance to see this wonderful festival we have every year in Montreal

There's about 800 lanterns all in the Chinese section of the Montreal Garden, it's very pretty

Over exposed with lots of blown highlights. Might try shooting earlier in the day- say shortly after the sun goes down so that there is still some light in the sky to get you a better light balance. Great location! I would like to see some more from here. Composision is good.

The reflections on the water are really beautiful, where was this taken?

the effect of the bright lights mid photo toward the left is very distracting to an otherwise well done picture IMO

Could have been a pretty shot except it looks over-exposed.
