Thank you, folks for all your votes and comment. I didn't expect to get this high, giving the fact that there are some flaws that you have pointed out. I have some shots with no motion blur on my hair and with different lighting. Obviously, I like this one I posed the most. And I couldn't bother take more shots because the make up got into my eyes. In fact, the idea of scratchinc the make-up was an accident. I got very hungry and had dinner after I put the full make-up on. There you go!

Wonderfully wacky! If only there were some detail in the highlight region...

I really like your idea but there is something about the lighting that I don't like, especially around the neck and the hair.
Nice shot.

Great dramatic makeup and pose! Your hair is blurry, and I can't tell if it's from movement or what. Would suggest not using such a glossy wall as a backdrop as well, since the light reflected off of it and is a bit distracting.

this is absolutely stunning, 10!

Very unique, but the image quality here is pretty low. If that's beyond your control, then so be it, but if it is due to excessive post processing or poor shooting conditions that might be something to work on.

Well done. A nice portrait and a good example of the challenge. 8 Morgan

Hmm. Interesting. From a technical perspective, the highlights on the face are a bit lown out, which detracts from the overall effect (for me anyway) but a very imaginative idea and interesting effect. Perhaps some 'frost' on the hair?

You've obviously gone to a lot of trouble to set this one up and the shot of your face is just fantastic. I just find that the reflections on the painted wall and the shadows to the side of your head too competing though. The hair also for some reason appears to be out of focus compared to the rest of your face. Overall great job though

Reflection off the shiny wall doesn't work too well (I have this problem a lot at my place too--what were those painters THINKING!?). Hanging up a cloth is one way around the problem.

Cool idea, but the background doesn't look too good and especially not with the bright light on it.

Weird, but very good photo! Nice concept. Lighting is used well here.

A striking image which says a lot about you, which is what I rate in this challenge - how an image relates to an individual and gives a viewer an insight to the character.

I can't put my finger on why but I really like this pic. There's things to be picky about - noise around the neck/shoulders, blown highlights, but it doesn't matter- it works. 8 (and that's high for me)

I love this picture except for that slight blur. If that wasn't there, it might be my favorite in the challenge. Still made my top 5 though.

Dramatic and attention grabbing. In that sense it is quite successful.

Would have given this a 10 if it were better technically. I give it a 10 for creativity and its emotive value. Technically, it seems a little hot on the right side, and could use a little more light on the left. Your background has a hotspot behind and above your head. Stepping away from the wall would have helped. I give it an 8 based on its appeal and interest level. It would be fun to see you do this again with better lighting and background...

This is such a cool and imaginative shot. I like the feeling. There's one flaw right under the hairline on the right, where it's a bit reddish... but not much of a flaw for me.

nice but blurry in your front, too much light there.. and change your background.. the reflection of the light in the background is not nice..

Very good, I like it, but the hair is blurred, motion perhaps?

Very overexposed on the head itself. Good idea though (5)

This is kinda scary, but then I'm sure that's what you intended. Great idea!
