 A Colored light was placed under a glass bowl to reflect the facets of the glass. I actually took the picture in a dark closet to block outside light.

I like the bowl itself and the lighting. I find the larger white border area detracts from the mood of your shot however. I also wonder what this would look like if it wasn't so tightly cropped at the top and bottom and maybe cropped in a bit more from the sides.

So pretty, and on the black, even better! Blue is my favorite color, so a big 8 from me on this one!

Soothing blue hue. The focus is a little off, I think. There doesn't seem to be a super-sharp portion in the picture.

the black thing in the upper left corner is distracting to me. nice lighting for this bowl shot, and lovely blue effect against the black background.

i have to say that this photo looks familiar to me for some reason...perhaps a similar one was entered in the first transparency challenge?
