for editing, removed some of the candle inside, seletive coloring, and little hue/saturation, sharpen as always, add border.

The pumpkin did its part. The knife completed its angles. The light grazed from the side. Then, somehow, the background got over-exposed.....
(Still like the pumpkin!)

Not sure about the neat image filter going on here. Shot fits the challenge, great carving but would have also liked to see it lit from the inside. Good luck!

artistic skill equivalent to mine :-) Lighting could be a lot better. Too bad you couldn't have worked with the stem. Maybe using the strings from the inside as some funky hairdo.

Cool pumpkin. Nice simple carving but good spooky factor for the carving. I like how much of the vine is still attached. I like the processing of the image. for a slight grunge. I think that in this case, an off-centred composition might have been a little more pleasing. Also, I think I might have lijed a touch more glow coming from inside the pumpkin.

I luv the simplicity of it. The long stem also greatly adds, as does the slight hints of shadow burning. excellent post processing, and good luck.

Not quite on a rule of third nor in the center here, also the top of the mouth right under the nose seems to have been blurred out a little and distracts me. Had you have panned more to the left this would have been much better but still a very nice shot
