Hi John, yes looking at this again with the benefit of some of the comments below it would have been stronger to have something distinct on the other side, maybe even Pauline with a bright red coat.

Not to say that it isn't already a good shot! - Well done.

I like your perspective - one that isn't seen that often - nicely done. I'm not sure if I like the people in there or not, but they do help with the perspective. My favorite part of your shot is the right hand side with the fauana through the water.

the composition is what is lacking here. The subjects on the other side of the waterfall just don't capture enough imagination. They look like people who were just walking by.
