ok, i took about 200 shots for this. it was near impossible getting rid of 'scan lines' from the monitor, i eventually achieved this at 1/20 second hand held with my other hand obviously in the pic. the lighting was hard, i don't have anything special, and got harsh shadows a hundred times before i gave up. i think the bit of shadow on the left gives the photo some 'depth' so you know what's going on.
all in all, one of my hardest shoots, 200+ pics, sore arm, swearing, drinking wine, and I finally settled on this. if this doesn't do well.. well.... I guess I'll try again!
oh.. and the 'magic' light in the middle isn't centred, i know.. i couldn't get rid of it, so decided to use it as a 'magic touch' spot... like the two sides are transmitting energy.. anyways ya.

How do you interpret "transparency"? no offense, the closest title I could think for this photo is reflection or mirror. I just don't see transparency in it. It is just my opinion, i don't vote this challenge, you have no worry on my opinion. I comment only. :) |

Cleverly done, although I would consider cropping off a little from the top, as the dark wedge at the top right is a little unnecessary, I feel. |

The light circle is a nice touch. Otherwise I don't know why this is better than the other "screenshots" in the challenge. 6 |

crop right in there - don't show us it's a monitor - you have a neat illusion here - you just gave it away - 4 |

Inspired by Michaelagnelo? :-) For me, I wish the mouse wasn't in the photo as it distracts my eyes away from the monitor itself. |

Very cool, although the monitor hand looks slightly larger than the left hand. Not sure if you intended this or not, but the illusion would have been cooler (IMO) if they were closer in scale. |
