i'm not really feelin' this one. the harsh light coming from the bulb is just too much. it's creating cool sillhouettes in the "trees", but it's just too bright and grabs all of your attention. also, i'd rather seem the subject down a little further toward the bottom, as it it kind of looks awkward just hanging out in the middle. 4. |

The darkness and your composition really make this candle feel isolated in vast blackness. Nice work. I do wish that more were in focus here, though. |

I like the idea of a dim light illuminating the objects surrounding it - hoever I can't see enough of this "forest" to know what it is, and the shapes, textures and details themselves don't draw the eye. Perhaps another light source below or behind to give us just a bit more information? |
