 This was taken in my kitchen. Since I don't have a lightbox (yet), I taped the feather to a piece of white paper and taped the paper to the florescent overhead light.

I tried running it though neat image, but it made parts of it come out blurry.

Editing:
usm, resize, usm again, slight rotate, crop.

It's actually a color photo but it looks b&w - as olddj pointed out :)

I think that this picture has great potential, however the very first thing that grabs my eye is the small black speck to the left of the shaft. I hate to be so nitpicky, but I can not keep my eye from going to that spot no matter how much I try to focus on the rest of the otherwise beautiful picture.
