Very orginal idea. I do agree its fantastic in the fact that you don't have any glare. I do see a distracting element in it that can easily be gotten rid of the rocks add a nice touch and a little charm to it but that purple wild flower screams crop me out all I do is distract from the broken mirror.
Other than that little flower the photo is really good. Definately meets the challenge. Well done.

| Not sure if it's true, but it looks like you have on a tie and a baseball hat. That incongruity is distracting me from the point of your image, which is otherwise very interesting! |

| Good job on elliminating all glare, and I like the contrasting deep, dark blue sky. However, I think the photo to be a tad bit underexposed and find that you are hard to make out in the mirror. Maybe some fill light directed your way could have remedied this. Also, I'm not crazy about the composition as I find the mirror and rocks to be prominent and command a majority of the attention here and you are secondary, which should not be the case in a portrait. |

| Unfortunatey the mirror is too shattered, so it makes it almost impossible to see the self portrait in this photo. Which is a pity, as I really like the shot otherwise |

| I really like the parallel shapes you found... that rounded-out broken mirror and the rounded-out rocks in the background really work well. And then there's you, such a contrast in shirt and tie in this natural setting. Interesting. |

| That mirror mosaic is beautiful. This is a subtle portrait and I like that it shows your environment, whether or not it's "home". Would like just a touch more light on your face or less on your shirt. |

Interesting and unique
I think a portrait should reveal some character, or emotion of the model, by showing expression in eyes or other facial features. Did your picture accomplish that? well....not really
This focuses more on the rocks than you. It shows good texture, and interest, but not a good portrait...per se. |

| this is a very nice idea! perhaps if the sun wasn't so bright, softer lighting will make the shattered glass appear more enigmatic when it blends with the rocks at the back. 7 |

| I like this image but the subject seems to be more about the rocks and that flower rather than you, hince it's tough to see this as a self portrait. Otherwise, Very nice composition, nice exposure and very intresting subjects. |
