hmm...can i assume that this was taking during the nyc gtg? I'm from NY myself, and in all my years I've taken many photos of the empire state building, but NEVER in fog. It's a very interesting view of it and I like the feeling it conveys. I've heard it's been raining non-stop there for about a month now. It must have been a fun but wet experience. I'd love to see more NYC fog and rain shots.
