***Greetings from the Critique Club***
Let me start by saying WOW..what a great picture. I am really shocked that this did not finish in the top 25! I think its an awesome picture! And it does meet the challenge.
The focus is great, and I don't see any blown out spots. Great job on that! The detail in the birds is just awesome!
The only problem I can see ( IMO ) is the birds are a little small. I'm thinking of the voters here. I think the closer it is, the more detail you can see in the birds...
Overall: Its a great photo, should have finished better than it did. Keep up the great work.
I hope my comment helps...
Phillip

Thanks to all for the comments, all are constructive. I guess I should have left a little more color in the shot and kept the contrast up. But then again I kinda of liked the cool feel to this. |

I didn't leave a comment before, but I rated this one of the highest in the challenge. This was very nicely done. The white of the birds was nicely shot without being too hot and blown out. In fact that is why I feel it is such a nice job. While the top 25% is a great result, personally I feel you deserved to fall in the top 10% with this shot. Well done. |

this one is much like the pigeon photo, but it needs the depth that the gray and white cloud background offered the pigeon photographer. |

Beautiful. Probably the best picture I have seen so far in this challenge.
The shape of the flock looks geometrical rectangular. |
