I was doing some microscope work in the lab and got distracted by the lights and colours set off by the slides. I couldn't quite capture it but I nearly got there.

I cropped a fair amount, played with levels to give it a really dark background (which I suspect will work against me in this challenge but I liked the effect) and then sharpened the image a little - not too much though since I couldn't get rid of all the dust.

Intersting, I wish that it would have a littel bit more white in it to fall into the challange

to me this is a poor set up and demonstration of light on white, I don't find any graphic or visual appeal at all in this image

Good idea and well placed sources of light. But the table should be cleaner and the smuge is distracting.

Interesting idea, I think it would have been better in this challenge if the back were white instead of black.

way too much darkness for a "white background" IMO
