The use of off center here suggests that your communication goes beyond this glass and this phemonenon, so you've used it to your advantage here. I'm not so sure about the split background, though; the two colors don't seem to enhance anything you're trying to get at here. |

We photographers need to watch the details. Up in the left corner is a mark that adds no virtue to this image, but is distracting. My eyes wander right to it. |

The candle is off center, so it meets the challenge. The green paper is a bit grainy, and the candle is a bit tilted to the right. Also, there's something in the top left hand corner that you could have easily cropped out. |

This shot looks like you laid some green construction paper on the carpet/floor and then took a picture of your subject. I think it would be better if you put the construction paper against the wall. Yes, your subject is off center which fits the challenge. I do like some of the reflections in the base of the glass but the red against the green just reminds me of Christmas and that seeems out of context of your shot. |

I'm afraid it just doesn't reach out & grab me too much... it just doesn't strike me as an interesting subject, I guess. There's also a distracting blob up in the upper left hand corner... not sure what that's there for. |

The colors in this are kind of yucky. You might have considered a better background for this; the flash, the background, and the corner of something grey give this a real snapshot quality. |
