Stretching from Sedona southwest toward the White Mountains of eastern Arizona USA, the Mogollon Rim marks the southern edge of the Colorado Plateau in Arizona separating the lower desert of the south from the high mountain plateaus in the north. The Mogollon Rim is known for its stands of ponderosa pine, which comprise the largest ponderosa pine forest in the United States. Thousands of feet high above the hot Sonoran Desert, it extends for nearly 200 miles (321 kilometers) across central Arizona. The long escarpment and plateau country rises to as high as 7,800 feet (2,377 meters) and averages about 7000 feet (2,133 meters).
The brilliant fall spectrum of colors come from maple, aspen, spruce and ponderosa pine trees. The deep blue sky comes from polarizer filtering at high altitude.

1-Noise reduction
2-Levels Adjustment
3-Hue/Sat Layer (+10 master, +24 reds, +12 Yellow,+50 green)
4-Crop for standard 12" X 8" landscape
5-Flatten and convert image to .jpg
6-Additional Hue/Sat adjustment for blue.
7-Added Selective color 'black' adjustment for subtle contrast.
8-Unsharp Mask (adjust for darken and lighten in separate layers) to highlight delicate detail. |

| Wow, nice bold colors! Almost too bold for a "delicate" theme. I like the picture though! (Although the sky on the left corner looks a little fake.) |

| Very pretty, I love fall, the polarizer made the colors pop nicely, only quibble is the dark jumble in the bottom left corner and maybe could be a tad sharper |

| I think that the coloring in the photo destracts from the theme of delicate because they are so intense. |
