After completely changing my mind again, as usual, I decided not to submit something for "Image Grain", and last night began to work on something for this challenge. After numerous set ups and then going through the results of the shoot, I was taken by this shot and choose to submit it. Tonight I was browsing DPC and saw that the "Image Grain" challenge was ready for voting and poked around to see if my original shot would have stood a change. To my ghastly surprise I ran into an extremely similar shot as this. I was going to scrap my entry but then realized that the challenge opened up on the 23rd and my shot was taken on the 22nd. I hope folks realize that this was merely coincidence and it would have been impossible for me to have seen that other shot before I shot this.

Beautiful, delicate and yes well fitting the light on white challenge.

Your lighting seems very good you don't have any areas of over exposure the only lighting issue I see is a little more shadowing on the side of the rose than I like to see.

Overall its beautiful and simple and there isn't anything really to change...even the shadow I mentioned is nitpicking.
