 This has to be the tiniest leaf I've ever seen fall off a tree. So small and delicate...

After experimenting with lighting and orientation, I went with this photo for the challenge.

Edits include two levels adjustments, a brightness/contrast adjustment, and a minor cropping.

Thanks for all the great comments! I learned a lot with this image.

In retrospect, I agree with those of you who said it's too dark. I wanted the picture to have a warm feel, but lost clarity in doing that. And since spot editing wasn't allowed, I couldn't use this other version, which I think works better.

The leaf just does not stand out with the contrast you have - so for me it's effectiveness is diminished.

Great color. I like how you left the lower right corner empty, it adds a lot of dimension with just a little bit of space.
