 Shot on kitchen counter with SB600 2feet to the left. Crop,convert to LAB, apply H&S and USM, back to RGB apply levels and add border. Simple still life shot born after giving up on another idea!

Very nice shot. Well executed. Your lighting seems perfect, the composition is outstanding and your score reflects just how good this photo is.

I don't see anything that says fix me and I tend to agree with a few of the comments you got in the challenge it portrays fragile more than delicate but then they are so close in meaning that it obviously didn't hurt.

Keep this shot in mind the next time there is a reflection challenge, it would be perfect in that challenge.

This was an excellent idea. I think all the black makes it lood too dull and cold feeling. rather than delicate and fragile. hope to see it finish fairly high due to your great imagination. Good luck!

Ooooo, I like this! I thought eggs would be WAY overdone in this one, but they've been creative and you are no exception. Good framing, geat idea with the reflection - it would have been really boring without it, and the crack is perfect. Well done!

good image. looks great in black and white. nice and simple which is good. the crack adds a lot of interest and makes the photo. it also conveys the "delicate" theme. nice photo.

I think I would have liked this a little better if there was more black space above the actual egg. This is too centered for my taste.
