Wow. I confess that I'm new here and I am an inexperienced photographer but I have to say that this is a tough neighborhood :). I thought this pic rated somewhat higher and certainly met the criteria very well. Well...I guess I'll just watch and get a feel for this place for a while. shrug..

I LOVE this shot. Great lighting, and a unique and interesing composition. Like it a lot. Meets challenge well. One of my favorites.

Last time I saw a photograph of this (ID=127647) it was not about hurricanes at all but about the 2nd worldwar.
The color is a bit flat and lacking contrast, the grain is more about color noise and not about pattern filmlike grain.

This is just me, but I would hve moved a little to the left to get this shot. Either that or crop out a lot of the plaster -- it's not that interesting to look at. The bricks are great and get your message across. The door looks interesting, too. I guess what I'm saying, at length, is that the composition could be better. I love the colors of the bricks and the background.

I like the angle of this. The architecture of it works. I'd play with curves to really enhance the richness of the tones. The shadow and light is good.
