Hey there!
Made me think:
This image has some strong connotations. The light shining through the top window has a sincere feel to it - almost spiritual. At the same time, it enlightens something; The fact that something is missing; Shouldn't htere be someone in that chair? It makes you think that perhaps the person who was in the chair has passed away, and gone to heaven (hence the light), or something similar. A great photograph in that respect.
Title:
A bit boring, to be fair.. If you had called the image "where did She Go" or something that made people think about the image, you might have found that more people were willing to forgive the technical mistakes in this image
Composition:
The books in the background are less than optimal, and I realise the challenge is a bit restricting in itself, so I guess the composition is all right.
Technique:
Focus problems and possibly motion blur. There really isn't any excuse for this, and this is what has cost you a massive amount of points. Sorry to say, but yes. Try to get more used to your camera by taking more pictures with it.
What could be done to rank higher:
Technique. That's all. Had the image been sharp, it would have been 5+, I reckon.

| This image meets the challenge as the chair is off center. I do find what I consider to be flaws with this image thoough. There appears to be a large amount of lens flare around the door handles. Use of a lens hood may have negated that effect. If the chair is meant to be the subject of the composition it needs to be brought into better focus. The reflection from the front leg of the chair is also distracting. I believe better control of your lighting would have helped this photograph. The elements you have attempted to combine as a composition and the choice of lighting situations make creating a photograph with impact difficult to accomplish to say the least. I must give you a 4 for thi challenge. RLS |

I'm sorry I just don't get this photo, other than the chair being of center, what's the point of the image? Just to soft, and the light in the upper right distracting-5

| This photo stood out to me. It shows an ordinary chair, moved into a way that shows to artistic outlooks. Good Job |

| Hmm, I was about to flame this shot, but I kind of like it the more I look at it! :) The sun flare, doors, bookshelf, etc., are really kind of interesting if you give it a chance. |

| That beam of light works well for me, as does the lighting in general. I wish the chair, at least, were in focus. |

| It's quite a neat idea, but I'm afraid the execution falls a bit short here. The image as a whole is blurred, and the bookshelves make it a bit busy. |

| Interrogation feel to this, which is interesting. To really capture that, a wider angle might've been more effective. |
