| Sometimes it's hard to get ideas for a challenge, or maybe there is a time pressure and you just enter something for the sake of entering. I hope that is what happened here. Good luck in future challenges. |

Granite, its round and white, but I think its a rock.
A white rock on a white birch, envelope stretching concept. |

| I can see where you were going with this, but it doesn't seem to meet the challenge to me, mostly because there is a whole lot of color being shown for a challenge focusing on light on white. The lighting is okay, but the composition and subject doesn't grab my interest at all. The hand holding the item up is very distracting as is the blue sky behind it. The focus looks good. Had the shot simply been of the white item on the bark of the beech? tree, I could see it tie in with the challenge much more. I gave a 3. |

| Does not meet the challenge. Take a photo in which the background is white and the subject is predominately a "light" color. |
