Great stop action. Interesting. I never use the ISO 1600 - but after seeing this, I may do some experimenting.
Thanks for posting.

Great shot! But ..... wrong challenge in my book. The action, framing and sharpness here is wonderful. Would have done well in a sports, action or water type challenge. |

Smooth as a baby's backside...your camera obviously has too many pixels..trade it in for a 1Mp beauty and see the grain shine! |

This is a nice photo. However, It leaves me wondering whether or not the grain really enhanced the image. To me, grain works best in photos that are dark, contrasty or moody, or to provide an "aged" look. This seems to me like a good image that had grain added to it for a contest, rather than an image that was enhanced by the use of grain. Keep shooting! :) |

Nice capture but:
a. I don't see grain. This picture looks smoother then smooth
b. I don't see how grain could have made your message any stronger.
Sorry... 4 for not meeting the challenge. |

great capture, but there is minimal grain here, and if there was how would it aid the effect you were shooting for? |

There doesn't seem to be any grain to me - looking hard but can't get there. GREAT capture though, I love the shot, it is just missing the challenge reqs. |

Actually, I believe it's skimboarding. At least that's what we called it. |
