this is wonderful. You succeeded very well at capturing what you intended to capture. I love this feel and how it lets us create a story about these two. and the post-processing works very well with this too. great job.

| This is a very interesting, artistic sort of image, and a terrific 'street' photograph as well. Two distinct species using the same habitat, each oblivious of the other. All sorts of interesting allegorical interpretations are possible, and your image invites the viewer to give it a few moments to try a few of them out. As for the grain (and the glow), they contribute to the mood of dislocation and detachment. 8 |

| I like this. I like the impact the grian gives to the image. Only thing I don't like is the extra bit a the top. It's pulling me away from the two main subjects and the contrast of the colors against the wall. 7 |

| Another option is if there was a crop so that all that could be seen were the stairs....yes, this would "clip" the hair of the pedestrian, but think it would be forgivable. I don't necessarily it's better or worse than this, as I think both have their pros and cons in terms of overall composition. |

| the grain is so selctive, and the lady so separated, that she almost look like she's not part of the original. the halo and chunk outline didn't work either. Next time, try feathering the selection by about 5-10 pixels or so (on a large image). |

| Great urban sensability. I like the vivid colors of the purse and shoes. Nice sense of movement. Never seen selective grain - interesting. The woman on the right almost seems cut and pasted. Maybe feather around her a tad. |
