this is pretty underrated, but a little overgrainified. I dig it though and woulda given it an 8. Nice shot. |

taken round 1870 or so, no?
heavy grain, but render well the feel of a (very) old photo. |

Well, I give you props for not being chicken with the grain. It's too bad in the way it was applied by the filter. Why for example, does the horizon to the right of the boat have two textures of grain? It looks the same to me tonally, it should have the same grain. The top 1/6th of the sky is the same. Otherwise the subject is an appropriate one for grain to enahnce. |
