Thank you for your critique, it was a nice surprise to come back to my picture and find it. And, while I'm at it, thanks to all of those who left comments during the challenge - your input is much appreciated.

Another great shot by a great photographer!
LIGHTING: good use of levels. I don't see over-ex areas and the shadows are rich.
FOCUS: the bg is OK but the dancer is slightly blured... nothing major though. I would've loved her either crisp or even more blured to give to give a true sensation of movement.
COMPOSITION: Beautiful! The BG works well here, the curves gives fluidity and grace that enhance the dancer's movements. even the lines in the dancer's top reenforce the curves in the BG. The choice of black clothing also contrasts well with the BG.
All in all a great shot! Keep it up!

| Nice composition - the rings of stone and the girl's figure crossing into them as she atempts flight - good use of off center - conveys action and potential. |

lovely. The concentric circles focus on the shadow and the girl - graceful feeling.
I gave this an 8 originally. But its been playing on my mind for a day or so, so I figure that makes it worth a 10 |

| Beautiful! Just beautiful... I love the composition, fits the challenge perfectly. My favorite shot in the whole challenge. My only comment is that the girl seems just a little soft-focused, probably because she is moving. |

| Wonderful! My only gripe would be that she seems to blend in a little too well with the background. It would have been cool to see her with a white outfit, or something else that would have provided more contrast with the surroundings. - 8 |
