The Golden Eagle is one of the largest and most spectacular raptors in North America. This bird weighs up to 14 pounds and has a wingspan of almost seven feet. As with most hawks and eagles, the female is usually much larger than the male.The adult is dark brown with long, lanceolate feathers tipped with golden-buff on the head and nape.

okay, i have to admit that my own eagle eyes can't quite make out what's reflected in the eagle's eyes. : (

I feel like a field mouse stairing down that throat. :) Nice DoF. I am supprised you stayed out of the reflection so well. Well done.

Wow! How did you do this? The bird eye tells it all... Even the shadow of the bird can be seen. Well done!

The reflection draws less attention for me then the setting around it. More focus on the reflection would make this an excellent photograph for me.

This is a wonderful image. However, the scene relfected in his eyes is just a normal distant landscape. Perhaps it would have rated better if you were able to have something better suited to it reflected.
