Very cool & dramatic shot. I agree with the other commenters that this could have scored quite well (after straightening the horizon). You want to watch for leftover remnants of burning the sky in your trees though. Keep up the good work! :-)

nope that's straight up wrong, check out heida's entries. I like the drama in the shot, but it needs to be straight.

Great shot even better when level. Would have averaged well above what you're getting. Never mind.

I give it a 6 or so, its too dark for a 7.
Dark images tend to score lower here as a general rule.
Not sure that the foreground stone is comfortable. and the car in the car park on the left.

Since you asked for opinions, I'd level the horizon, and crop tighter on the left.

Sam, Sam, Sam. What were you thinking? This photo would definitely have done better in the Wide Angle challenge than the one you submitted (I remembered it when you posted it in the forum). In fact a lot better. It's not altogether compelling - I mean no specific subject in the shot, but has good elements in it and nice color, lighting and composition.
