 Shot in the High Sierra mountains in Yosemite. I'm not sure how this will do. I have so many good pictures, I had a really hard time deciding which one to enter. I picked this one because I thought the symmetry and the negative space and flat part at the bottom of the hill lent itself to a magazine cover more than my other more typical photos, which I will put up on here for people to see after the challenge is over.

the cliff is very pretty, but I'm afraid that the trees and hill on top don't really add much to the shot. I think the focus is soft on the trees, cause we can't get much detail out of them, they kind of blurr together. I really like the bottom 1/2 though.

Beautiful shot, the black and white really suits this landscape. The thin black frame does not detract from your subject and does a good job of framing your composition.

I like this but it is alittle grainey and maybe the contrast could have been boosted some. =6
