geez, skate4aganja wasn't a fan, was he? You could have gone two ways with this pic. 1) crop tigher to leave just 3 or 4 slats above and below the picture. 2) accentuate the imbalance by shifting the windows even lower. That might have also removed some of the lower portion which isn't quite as pretty as the upper slats. The reflection portion is cool and I like the repeated quality of it. |

interesting contrast in architecture styles in this photo. i think i would enjoy seeing this taken as a landscape instead of a portrait, to play those horizontal lines more... |

It is hard to comment (and therefore we usualy don't comment) pictures that are
bad in all the aspects of photography. I don't know what to say about this one.
You didn't do anything right and everything you did, you did it wrong. |

This is just so close to being great. It feels like you have too many skews going too many different directions. There should be at a minimum ONE vertical or horizontal line running parallel to a border that serves as a grounding point for the composition. Barrel distortion as a result of a short lens got you on the verticals and the angle of the shot distorted the horizontals. Perhaps a busy, busy shot was your purpose, but the title suggests otherwise. Still the idea is stellar and the placid scene reflected amidst the frenetic linear activity is a great contrasting device. For my taste, the facade of the reflected building should have been the grounding element and thus the prominent, light colored line running the length of the top of the facade should have been aligned horizontally with the bottom border. Just a thought. |

The reflection draws less attention for me then the setting around it. More focus on the reflection would make this an excellent photograph for me. |

Would have liked it better if it had been taken straight on. Some interesting lines and potential |
