 This was originally just a shot I took of the light coming through the clouds. Then I noticed the clouds looked like a face (the jury is still out on this one) when I got it on my computer. Threw in a little curves, brightness/contrast, levels, selective color, and there you have it. I brightened it up to account for my laptop's tendency to produce images that look too dark on calibrated monitors. I don't expect this to fair too well, but as a first entry it will get my foot in the door.

I like how you captured the ray of sunlight, but for me it's doesn't quite fit into the description of the challenge as I understand it. Sorry.

The good: creative title and idea.
To work on: Pictures like this wind up being unexciting without something in the foreground, even if it isn't the main subject. The lighting is perhaps a bit too dark.

The concept is good and the title fits - but I think it would have looked better with a stronger shaft of light.

I can see where your headed, but talk about 'clouding' a subject.
(Pun intended)
The sunlight is personified as breathe, but then God is anthropomorphised as breathing. Lets not get into theological debates...it gets a 7
Wish there was more contrast, would have scored it hgher.

I totally get it and good for you for going this way in the challenge. I do wish there was more detail in say the clouds perhaps, or the water.

I also tried to get a few shots like this, but didn't manage to get any that would be worth submission, so I didn't enter in this challenge. This picture meets the idea in my head. Great job!
