It's not personification if the stone was carved to look like a person. |

Statues and figurines did not meet the challenge in my opinion. |

I wonder if it would have been possible to have the drips coming from the cheek rather than from the crown of the head? Good idea. |

Sorry, I see this sculpture as being a personification by the sculptor, not the photographer. I also find the snails crawling in the hair make me feel uncomfortable, and the blurred lines (cobwebs?) in the foreground take away from the clarity of the image. |

In my opinion, statues are imitation rather than personification. I like the composition. The DOF works very well. Kinda creeped out by the snail in her ear but not considering it in voting. |

A very unique subject for the challenge. I love the concept. It could be a very moving piece. However, to me, the picture did not capture what could have been expressed. |

The snail is an interesting element, but I think the use of sculpture may skirt to intent of the theme. |

I don't really feel that statues fit this challenge but it's a good shot any way. |

Maybe I'm too literal, the contest rules states, "...non-human-looking but yet still shows human characteristics..." A very nice and artistic pic though. Nice job! |
