These are "Choofers" - or at least that's what I call them. Diesel heaters that were once used in orchards to stop frost. When the diesel burns, it "choofs". To me they look like tin soldiers lined up and hence the personification.

Thanks to everyone for your valuable comments. I really feel like I'm improving and your suggestions and criticisms help a great deal. I'm glad most of you could see the soldiers lined up like they are at inspection. Cheers.

Two or three guys in the front row look like they are going to faint! Good shot.

That would be my first thought also (Tin Soldiers). Very good eye to see this one. Looks like a military installtion somewhere. So cool how they seem to go on forever - nice vanishing point! I think the composition is fine - wonder what it would look like to take enough off the top to lose the bg trees, of course then you'd have to pinch the right a little. Hmmm...nothing like armchair quarterbacking is there? ;^)

I'm going to hazard a guess for the fun of it ... Toddhead?

Edit to add post-result comments:

Oops! Wrong guess. ;^)

Thought this should have placed higher. Oh well - on to the next one eh?.

Interesting view. Good thing you included the title or I wouldn't have seen how it fit the challenge..
