 Taken with my brand-new Nikon 50mm 1.8 lens!

I severely cropped this photo, and re-set white balance in raw conversion. Slight USM for local contrast, some levels, hue/saturation, curves, and a border.

A total of 5 bananas were harmed during this photo shoot. Please, think of the bananas.

7 - Well executed. Criticism; whilst the colors and lighting work well, I would like to have seen the 'blues'/background/base/etc more subtle if possible, really making the bashful banana 'pop' out. Not sure on the frame, maybe it helps with the 'subject' though.

Hah! This is a funny one. I like it. Did you try seeing what it looked like without the peel coming off to the left? Looking at the condition of the banana peel and fruit I'd hazard a guess you took a handful of shots (hard to keep it from browning - I know, I tried a banana shot for a challenge once). ;^)

Anyway, you should do well with this one. Good luck in the challenge.
