Why this scored so low, I'll never know. This deserved a much higher placement. |

I like the color adjustment that brought out the pumpkins. |

the orange is really great! to me it seems the little girl doesn't really have to make a decision, the way she walks over the field. |

Wow - those are some really glow-like orange pumpkins!! I do agree Halloween is a cause for celebration, but unfortunately the girl doesn't look as if she is having too much fun. Had she been carrying one of the huge ones in her arms with a big grin on her face, I would have scored this higher. |

Nice try. I don't particularly like the over saturated orange, but thats a personal taste. |

Love the colours on this! Just not sure about the challenge bit. Still a 7 for me! |

she looks so solemn, hardly celebrating! ;0)
Nice pick, although I might tone down the color- the orange is a bit too much. Maybe do at half saturation? |

were the pumpkins really that uniform a color? they almost look painted, and that detracts from the image in my eye. i like how your model contrasts against the setting with her bright, clear colors. |

the colorization of the oranges is not natural and somewhat distracting to me. |

Photo holds promise and potential. I think a closer zoomed in focus on the child would have strengthed the shot. As it is in this photo, she is lost in this big pumpkin patch. A closer zoom on the main subject as she picks out that perfect pumpkin would allow us the viewers to see her facial expression which is important when you want the viewer to make a connection to a photo. And it would have to be not just any expression but either one of joy at finding the perfect one or a moment that clearly shows the musing of "hmm, which one should I pick". The other thing that this composition needs is a readjustment of the colors. The saturation of the orange hues on the pumpkins is too much that they glow with way too much vibrancy. |

Like the picture - little over saturated for my taste. |

Very good composition showing the child wandering through the patch full of pumpkins. The saturation seems a little extreme, the pumpkins just don't seem natural. |

Great vibrancy. I wish her jacket were a solid color, but I'm nitpicking. The rule of thirds is well done here. She does stand out with the bright blue, white and pink stripes. |
