Sorry, I did not see this at voting time. I think it captures the passion of a century. It is a feeling of you against the world and a feeling of your team against its opponents, and most importantly a victory over yourself.

| From my view, it seems that the mask is the focus of the shot - it has the most contrast in the cage and top. You might structure the composition to better emphasize this (maybe crop off a bit on the right to put it more into the upper left third of the frame). Alternately, if you'd prefer to have focus on person (doesn't seem to be the case here as his back is turned), a little more light to show or hint at his features should emphasize that subject. I'm on the other side of the pond so I don't know anything about crickett, but he seems to be enjoying it = ) |

| I suppose many here will wonder what a 'ton' is, and where 'Lords' is. It's a very effective (if staged) image, and a gesture of celebration warmly familiar to all lovers of the game. He does, however, look surprisingly young to have made a century there. I very much like the nearly-but-not-quite silhouette effect, especially with the highlights on the back of the bat. | i'm afraid i don't understand the title. the image, in its shades of grey, is interesting, but i'm not sure what i'm looking at. they boy appears to be holding a helmet and a covered stick? i find myself feeling frustrated that i can't make sense of it. i do like the light source being in front and off to the left of the model, and i like the action captured in the photo. |

| i dont understand what the title means??? and the photo is dark so i cant even see what he is holding. i like the sillouette look with the light above. but for this challenge it needs to be lighter so i can see what he's doing. |

| I'm not sure what your title refers to, but that's neither here nor there. I'm focusing on the photos themselves in this challenge - since I see it as wide open. My favorite part of your photo is the helmet in the child's left hand. The right side of the photo is a bit dark for my tastes, but the overall use of black and white doesn't really give me a sense of celebration - almost the opposite, actually. |
