 this is a mountain lake
(about 1950m above sea level) which has been dammed on one side. People love walking on the dam even though it's forbidden. The dam makes the lake look like it's teetering on the egde or something... I like it a lot but the pic doesn't do justice to the view

This is a great shot Thierry, I'd keep it in my pocket for a retro challenge for sure. I found that it's the blue haze that kills those stunning landscapes. The eye sees them much truer than the camera. My Thirds entry looked like that before I got in and started working with color balance

Neat! It looks like the lake is frozen over (but not turned white like they do) and they're walking on the water.
